Purchase Agreement

Everything important gets written down: which puppy, what it costs, what's guaranteed, and what each of us is responsible for.

No handshake deals

Every puppy we place goes home with a signed agreement. It protects your family, it protects our program, and above all it protects the dog. You'll receive the full document to read before you're asked to sign anything or send a balance.

What the agreement covers

  • The specific puppy — name, sex, color, date of birth, microchip number and pedigree
  • Total price, deposit amount, balance due date and accepted payment methods
  • Go-home date and the agreed delivery method with its cost
  • Vaccination, deworming and veterinary exam records at the time of transfer
  • The full two-year health guarantee terms, including what is and isn't covered
  • Registration type — limited for pet homes, full only by prior written agreement
  • Spay or neuter expectations, on your veterinarian's recommended timeline
  • The return-to-breeder clause that applies for the life of the dog

Deposits

A deposit holds a specific puppy for you and comes off the total price. It is non-refundable, because once a puppy is held we stop showing them to other families. If a puppy becomes unavailable through no fault of yours — a health issue found before go-home day, for example — your deposit transfers to another puppy or a future litter, or is refunded in full. That's our problem to fix, not yours.

Balance and go-home day

The balance is due before the puppy travels or is picked up. We'll confirm the exact amount in writing well in advance, and the paperwork is handed over in person or sent with the courier — never "in the mail later."

The return clause

If you can no longer keep your dog — at any point, for any reason — the dog comes back to us. No judgment, no questions designed to make you feel bad. Every dog we've bred has a place to land, and that clause is in every agreement we write.
