Our commitment
What we guarantee, in plain English
Every Frenchie Avenue puppy is examined by a licensed veterinarian before go-home day, is current on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, and leaves with a signed two-year health guarantee covering life-threatening congenital and hereditary conditions.
Health testing on the parents
Coverage after the fact matters far less than prevention beforehand. Both parents are screened before they are ever bred — hip and spine imaging, cardiac evaluation by a veterinarian, and a full breed-specific DNA panel including degenerative myelopathy, juvenile hereditary cataracts, hyperuricosuria and canine multifocal retinopathy. We will send you those results before you place a deposit; you should not have to ask twice.
Breathing and structure
We select specifically for open nostrils, a moderate soft palate and quiet breathing at rest. No dog that struggles for air in mild heat enters our breeding program, whatever its color or pedigree. This is the single most important health decision anyone breeding this breed makes.
Your part of the agreement
The guarantee stays valid as long as your puppy is examined by your own veterinarian within 72 hours of coming home, stays current on vaccinations and preventatives, is kept at a healthy weight, and is not bred without our written agreement. These are the same things a good vet would ask of you anyway.
What is not covered
Like any honest guarantee, ours has limits. It does not cover injury, parasites, infectious disease contracted after go-home day, conditions caused by obesity, heat exposure or neglect, or the ordinary cosmetic and minor issues that show up in any breed. Full terms are in the purchase agreement — read them before you sign, and ask us about anything that isn't clear.
First 72 hours
Your own vet examines the puppy. This validates the guarantee and gives you an independent second opinion.
For life
We stay reachable. Health questions, food changes, behavior — call us before you guess.
Because this is a French Bulldog, one more thing: keep it cool, keep it lean, use a harness. Those three habits prevent more problems than any guarantee can fix.
